Job summary

Eagle Church is seeking a Missions and Outreach Pastor/Director to provide leadership and vision for global, regional and local missions and outreach ministries. This full-time, salaried role will mobilize the congregation through prayer, giving, serving and partnerships, while building relationships with CMA workers and local partners.

The position requires strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration across church staff to integrate evangelism and outreach throughout church life.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life consistent with biblical worldview.
• CMA background such as church attendance or mission involvement preferred.
• Ordination with the CMA or willingness to pursue licensing and ordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Missions Team in developing and evaluating Eagle Church's missions strategy.
• Develop and lead a Local Outreach Team for community initiatives.
• Recruit, equip, and develop volunteers and lay leaders for missions outreach.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate missions and evangelism churchwide.
• Oversee missions budget and steward resources carefully.
• Cultivate relationships with CMA International Workers, Alliance ministries, and partners.
• Plan and run the annual Missions Fest and other partner events.
• Equip teams for cross-cultural ministry and follow up after trips.

POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY The Missions and Outreach Pastor will provide leadership and vision for Eagle Churchs global regional and local missions and outreach ministries This pastor will develop strategies to mobilize the congregation to participate in Gods mission through prayer giving serving evangelism and meaningful partnerships The Missions and Outreach Pastor will cultivate relationships with Christian and Missionary Alliance C&MA International Workers IWs global and local ministry partners and community organizations while equipping and mobilizing Eagle Church to reach our immediate neighborhood and surrounding communities with the Gospel This is a full time salaried position

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Lead the Missions Team in developing implementing and evaluating Eagle Churchs overall missions strategy and policies Develop and lead a Local Outreach Team that would explore and implement ministry initiatives in our surrounding communityRecruit equip and develop volunteers and lay leaders to participate in and lead missions and outreach ministriesWork collaboratively with other staff and ministry leaders to integrate missions outreach and evangelism throughout the churchOversee the missions budget and ensure responsible stewardship of missions and outreach resourcesDevelop effective communication strategies that regularly tell the story of what God is doing through Eagle Churchs missions and outreach partnershipsEvaluate ministry partnerships and initiatives regularly identifying opportunities for greater engagement and Kingdom impactWill participate in Staff meetings and planning Missions Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with C&MA IWs Alliance ministries other global partners and local missions organizations through regular communication prayer encouragement and engagementDevelop opportunities for Eagle Church members to engage in missions through prayer giving serving short term trips and ongoing relationships with missions partnersOversee adult short term missions trips and work collaboratively with Eagle Students on student missions opportunitiesEquip and prepare individuals and teams for effective cross cultural ministry and provide meaningful follow up after tripsPlan and oversee the annual Missions Fest and other opportunities to connect the congregation with IWs and missions partnersIdentify and develop strategic missions partnerships that align with Eagle Churchs mission values and ministry priorities Outreach Develop and implement a strategic local outreach plan focused on Eagle Churchs immediate neighborhood and surrounding communitiesBuild relationships with local schools organizations community leaders nonprofits and ministry partners to identify meaningful opportunities for Gospel centered engagementOversee and develop local outreach initiatives such as block parties Upward Sports service projects community events and other strategic outreach opportunitiesWork with the Discipleship Director to equip the congregation in personal evangelism relational outreach and sharing the GospelHelp create a culture in which every believer understands their role in participating in Gods mission through their relationships workplaces neighborhoods schools and communityDevelop sustainable outreach strategies that move beyond individual events toward ongoing relationships and opportunities to

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life consistent with a biblical worldviewFull agreement with C&MA Statement of Faith and Global Mission ObjectivesUnderstanding of biblical and missional theology and a passion for the Great Commission5 years of ministry missions or related leadership experience preferredDemonstrates an ability to build healthy relationships and work collaboratively with International Workers ministry organizations community partners and church leadersDemonstrates an ability to recruit organize and lead short term missions tripsDemonstrates an ability to recruit equip and mobilize volunteersC&MA background such as church attendance college or mission field preferredOrdination with the C&MA or a willingness to pursue licensing and ordination

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Missions and Outreach PastorDirector will receive direct supervision from the Associate PastorThe Missions and Outreach PastorDirector will be indirectly accountable to the Lead Pastor and Elder Board
