Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a full-time Occupational Health Physician to provide services at Edwards Air Force Base. The physician will deliver occupational medicine, evaluate work-related injuries, and conduct required medical examinations to support military employee health, safety, and readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree: Doctor of Medicine MD
• Education: Graduate from an accredited academic program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates
• Experience: Must have at least two years of experience to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service‑specific credentialing instructions
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a physician

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational medicine exams including pre-placement and fitness for duty
• Coordinate with facility resources to provide work-related care
• Advise on hazards, exam results, and work restrictions
• Interpret tests such as CBC, CMP, PFT, EKG, X-ray, and audiograms
• Diagnose and consult for follow-up evaluations of work-related conditions
• Evaluate and treat on‑the‑job illnesses and injuries and stabilize transfers
• Maintain medical records and participate in quality improvement programs
• Provide training and guidance to staff on clinical procedures

Education

Doctor of Medicine MD
