Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks experienced Functional Strength Coaches to support a comprehensive Human Performance program serving Air Force personnel in California. You will design and deliver mission-specific strength programs to improve readiness, endurance, mobility, and performance while reducing injuries.

You will lead diverse training sessions, conduct evaluations, and develop deployable guidance in collaboration with athletic trainers and unit staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two years of experience as a practicing strength coach.
• TSAC-F certification.
• CSCS certification via NSCA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to complete background, security, and contract-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver functional strength and conditioning programs.
• Conduct individual and group Human Performance evaluations.
• Design training programs based on unit requirements.
• Lead sessions for personnel with varied occupational demands.
• Provide instruction on exercise and weightlifting techniques.
• Conduct performance-training clinics (running and lifting form).
• Support unit physical training in coordination with fitness personnel.
• Develop portable, deployable training guidance.
• Track performance and maintain training records.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with Athletic Trainers, Mindfulness Coaches, and unit personnel.
• Participate in meetings and program coordination.
• Work in field environments under inclement conditions.
