Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking an entry-level Food Service Attendant to support dining operations in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

You will assist with food preparation, serving guests, and keeping dining spaces clean, with cross-training across culinary, hospitality, and dish teams. This role requires reliability, initiative, and the ability to stand long hours.

The compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, with benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in food preparation, customer service, or other food services support roles.
• Willingness to obtain food handler's card.
• Ability to work all shifts and extended hours, stand long periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the organization by ensuring cleanliness in all on-site dining areas.
• Support maintenance of beverage stations, food sales locations, and break areas.
• Assist with food preparation according to SpaceX quality and sanitation standards.
• Follow stocking routes, track inventory, and receive and distribute product around the site as instructed by leadership.
• Help the team meet time and quality standards set by supervisor.
• Setup, maintain, and breakdown a daily workstation within a kitchen or service environment.
