Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct experience in emergency vehicle upfitting or police/emergency work with technical aptitude.
• 1+ years of experience in quality assurance inspection or related technical field.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operations in high-stress environments.
• Familiarity with 12-volt automotive electrical systems and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of custom emergency vehicle upfits, verifying proper installation of light bars, sirens, radios, and equipment.
• Perform functional testing to ensure compliance with agency specifications and regulatory standards.
• Identify and document defects or nonconformities before deploying vehicles to fleets.
• Collaborate with upfit technicians and QA Manager to monitor production and maintain quality.
• Log inspections and generate reports using QA software daily.
• Ensure every vehicle leaves the facility 100% mission-ready and safe for personnel.
