Job summary

Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, seeks a Mission Planning SME in Niceville, FL or Las Vegas, NV. You will bridge warfighter needs with software development and test teams to ensure requirements are captured and reflected in the system.

The role requires active US Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in mission planning and aircrew experience on F-15E/EX, with JMPS experience preferred. You’ll perform analyses, coordinate with government tests, and contribute to robust, secure

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in mission planning.
• 5+ years of aircrew experience in the F-15E/EX platform.
• Are you skilled in leading strategic technical briefings and effectively communicating specialized mission planning information to domestic (USAF/USN) and foreign military customers?

Responsibilities

• Utilize aircrew experience to help Systems Engineers build user-friendly software.
• Analyze software environment for applicability and usability.
• Serve as liaison between Systems Engineers and warfighters to determine issues and fixes.
• Coordinate with Government test to prevent schedule delays.
• Analyze to optimize total system architecture for mission planning.
• Apply interdisciplinary methods to plan, design, develop and verify system solutions.
• Define and coordinate system performance requirements and parameters.
• Derive lower-level requirements and track through design and validation.
• Assess affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, security, and quality factors.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation plan development.
• Develop verification/validation methods for program milestones.
• Test and validate that designs meet requirements.
