Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Mission Management Support Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. This full-time role requires 1880 hours of support per year and work at a customer location.

You will establish documented processes, evaluate engineering practices, and develop assessments to improve mission-focused operations. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited college or university; a High School diploma with four years of additional experience may be substituted.
• Ten years of experience with Process Improvement on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; including five years in facilitation, methodology development, change management, organizational development, data modeling, or information system development methods.
• Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Establish and document processes to support the project.
• Evaluate system and software engineering processes to address project/organizational issues.
• Develop plans for, and conduct, informal and formal project assessments.
• Analyze assessment results and make improvement recommendations and plans.
• Provide analysis and recommendations in support of mission-oriented business functions and related applications and systems.
• Align processes, systems, policies, and organizational structures with mission and strategy.
• Create process change by integrating new processes and communicating changes to stakeholders.
• Develop innovative solutions; facilitate quality improvement efforts.
• Plan and implement approved business solutions; develop metrics to measure operational efficiency.
