Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS Mission Lead to guide a 24x7 defensive cybersecurity team delivering incident operations across DoD Top Secret and classified networks. The role is on-site with a core 5x8 day shift, requiring readiness for 2-hour recall and on-site SCIF work near Hill AFB/Columbus/Scott AFB.

You will lead, coach, and coordinate with leadership to ensure mission readiness and rapid incident response. Expect direct engagement in triage, intelligence integration, and coordinated reporting,

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC, CySA+).
• CSSP-A or CSSP-IR certification (e.g., CySA+, CEH, GCIA, GCIH), or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire.
• Strong TCP/IP networking and packet analysis knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree plus 4–8 years of cyber defense/SOC experience; on-site SCIF; 5x8 schedule and 2-hour recall commute.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24x7 defensive cybersecurity monitoring and incident operations.
• Guide analysts in alert triage and investigation using endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and network sensors.
• Coordinate incident response with customer leadership, JFHQ-DODIN, and USCYBERCOM.
• Develop team through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain compliance and operational readiness within the SCIF.
