Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a Technical Team Lead III to guide the Mission Intelligence team in data engineering, analytics, and automation for a mission-critical BI platform. You will ensure reliability and availability while leading execution and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

The role requires strong leadership, 12+ years SWE experience, and familiarity with SRE principles, enterprise-scale deployments, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience leading technical teams and driving project execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Team Lead for the Mission Intelligence team, guiding data engineering, analytics, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure reliability, availability, and quality of the BI platform and support enterprise-wide decision-making.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and data scientists, and manage stakeholder expectations.
