Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Space Coast, FL seeks a dynamic Mission & Flight Operations Manager / Sr Manager to lead teams that plan and execute safe, efficient operations for vehicles and payloads from receipt through day-of-operations and post-flight. The role requires coordinating across vehicle, payload, and ground systems while mentoring technicians and engineers.

Shifts: A Shift Monday- Friday 8am -4:30pm. Location: Space Coast, FL. Relocation: Available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mission and flight operations teams.
• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated operations plans.
• Strong background in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day mission and flight operations for vehicles, payloads, and launch complexes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute integrated operations plans and schedules across facilities.
• Manage a team of technicians, controllers, and engineers, including coaching and development.
• Oversee field and control room integration, checkout, and test activities as needed.
• Own operations procedures, checklists, timelines, and safety compliance.
