Job summary

K-LOVE in Franklin, TN is seeking an Editor/Videographer to shape how we engage audiences through video and photo content across Live Events, Podcasting, and on-air campaigns. The role focuses on turning raw footage into compelling social and vertical content, while also supporting shooting as needed.

You will work within the Video Team to elevate storytelling, manage post-production from first cut to final delivery, and collaborate with Producers and Campaign Managers to define content

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, current enrollment, or equivalent mix of education and experience in video post-production.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a video editor with a portfolio showing social media editing.
• Expert-level skill in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, and other Creative Cloud apps.
• Proven ability to find the story in raw or long-form footage and cut tight edits for horizontal and vertical formats.
• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, music editing, and storytelling.
• Experience with color correction, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics.
• Familiarity with export settings, codecs, and deliverable formats for major platforms.
• Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio capture; photography a plus.
• Organized file management and media workflows; meets deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Edit photo, video, and audio assets on tight deadlines for various campaigns and events.
• Edit long-form content and create social-first edits for distribution.
• Identify key moments in longer footage and shape vertical/social cuts.
• Own post-production from first cut to final delivery: pacing, color, graphics, and sound.
• Polish audio for talking-head and interview content.
• Create original motion graphics, photos, and video content.
• Prepare final deliverables in correct formats and specs for each platform.
• Manage edit queue and collaborate with producers across clients.
• Shape content direction with Producers and Campaign Managers and pitch edit approaches.
• Analyze engagement data to inform editing strategies aligned with ministry goals.
• Apply cross-channel strategy to editing, formatting, and packaging.
• Support production with shooting, lighting, audio capture as needed.
• Contribute to set design and visual direction with video team.
