Job summary

SAIC seeks a User Outreach Engineer to provide onsite SETA services for an SAIC Prime Program at the National Reconnaissance Office in Chantilly, VA. The role connects mission needs with end-user adoption through training, readiness activities, and stakeholder coordination.

Candidate must have a strong track record engaging with user communities, excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with nine+ years of experience; Masters with seven+; PhD/JD with four+.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Experience with NRO satellite systems and user community engagement.
Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills; able to work in government/contractor teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop training and educational materials on constellation capabilities.
Coordinate with other user engagement teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
Promote engineering use cases and experimentation to inform capability needs.
Ensure user readiness to employ tasking, data discovery and exploitation capabilities.
Align external dependencies with mission needs across the enterprise.
Assist in developing external training and instructional courses for program inclusion.
Prepare responses to customer leadership information requests.
Prepare and brief educational material to diverse user groups regularly.
Travel may be required about once per month.
