Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Kentwood, MI is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate for a part-time role at $14.00 per hour. The position requires 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

You will greet customers, operate the register, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean, welcoming shopping environment while supporting the store team and overall fundraising mission.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly customer service.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• High school diploma or currently pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned.
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop.
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized.
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals.
