The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Greenwood, IN is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate for part-time hours (25 per week). You will greet customers, handle transactions, restock, and maintain a clean, organized store environment to create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

Training is provided, with opportunities to develop retail and customer service skills. Flexible scheduling includes days, evenings and weekends to fit/store needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to provide friendly customer service.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move merchandise throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned.
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop.
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized.
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals.
