Job summary

Goodwill Industries of San Diego County is seeking a Sales Person I to provide friendly, efficient service to shoppers and donors. You will help with ringing up purchases, restocking, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized.

In this role you may assist with processing donations, inventory checks, and merchandise transfers as directed by management. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred and at least 6 months of prior work experience or completion of a GISD program is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent work experience or completion of a GISD employment program.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers/donors.
• Accurately rings purchases and follows cash handling policies.
• Maintains the sales floor safe, clean, and organized.
• Assists with processing and receiving donations.
• Takes inventory and pulls merchandise for transfer as directed by management or supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
