Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Belton is seeking a Store Sales Associate I to deliver friendly customer service, support donation processing, and maintain an organized, mission-driven thrift environment. You will engage with shoppers, operate the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or actively pursuing one.
• Retail, customer service or cashiering experience preferred.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and represent The Salvation Army’s mission and values.
• Greet donors and shoppers and assist with transactions at the register.
• Operate the POS system and balance cash transactions.
• Open/close cash drawers per cash handling policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and restock merchandise.
• Support store productivity and contribute to sales goals.
• Work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
