Job summary

Origami Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center in Michigan is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one rehabilitation services, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes quality outcomes aligned with Origami's mission and core values.

The position is primarily based at the Mason campus with temporary coverage at Lansing sites. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with flexible scheduling, generous PTO, health/dental/vision, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Physical Therapy and licensure in Michigan.
• Certification as a Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) is provided by Origami.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certification (provided by Origami).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, document, and implement treatment plans for clients referred by physicians.
• Provide interns, volunteers, and job shadows meaningful educational experiences.
• Educate staff, clients, and external stakeholders on home exercise programs and other PT modalities.
• Observe confidentiality regarding program participants and external agencies.
• Initiate and follow through with tasks to facilitate communication and resolutions.
• Record evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, discharge reports, and service billings promptly.
• Delegate and oversee plans of care with Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Contribute to documentation systems and outcome data analysis.
• Maintain professional development and networking opportunities.
