Job summary

M&C Saatchi World Services US is seeking a highly skilled photographer to create compelling imagery for government-facing communications and outreach. You will shoot at events, workplaces, and on-location assignments, translating briefs into visual storytelling that supports mission objectives.

The role requires strong lighting, on-location production, and post-processing using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years professional photography experience.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
Ability to travel and work on location (DC/NYC region).
Experience with digital asset management, metadata, captioning, and archiving.

Responsibilities

Capture publication-ready photography at events, workplaces, and on-location assignments.
Plan shoots across portraiture, documentary, and lifestyle imagery.
Translate briefs into shot lists, locations, lighting, and gear needs.
Operate cameras, lenses, lighting, and supporting equipment.
Edit and retouch imagery for digital, print, social channels.
Archive assets with metadata and version control.
Collaborate with teams to identify visual storytelling opportunities.
Ensure imagery aligns with brand standards and accessibility requirements.
