Job summary

Qualifications

• Active LVN license required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Ability to comply with state immunization requirements.
• Successful completion of drug screening and background checks.
• Completion of facility/state-mandated training.
• Ability to work within a structured hospital environment serving individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Provide medication education to patients as appropriate.
• Complete detailed and accurate clinical documentation.
• Perform computer data entry (full system training provided).
• Follow and comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and accrediting agency requirements, including ICF-IID regulations and state health services standards.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and directives governing patient care.
• Participate in required training and professional development programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
