Job summary

The University of Nebraska Foundation seeks an Investment Analyst to guide its institutional investment efforts and contribute to a mission-driven team. You will collaborate with the CIO and staff to manage multiple portfolios, performing rigorous due diligence and analyses across asset classes, with emphasis on private markets.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in institutional investing, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Bloomberg and related tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of institutional investment experience.
• Experience with manager selection, portfolio analysis and policy formulation.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with CIO and investments staff to manage multiple portfolios.
• Serve as an investment generalist across asset classes.
• Oversee due diligence for retained and potential managers.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolios.
• Refine asset allocation and risk attribution for each portfolio.
• Evaluate opportunities with emphasis on private markets.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as needed.
