Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Health Services Administrator (HSA) to oversee and evaluate healthcare delivery in accordance with state/local regulations, ACA, NCCHC, and accreditation standards. You will manage healthcare staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes autonomy within a supportive team, growth opportunities, and a commitment to serving underserved populations with compassion and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering correctional medical, dental, and mental health care is preferred.
• Three years administrative, management and supervisory experience.
• Sound decision-making skills are mandatory.
• Organizational experience in operations and planning required.
• Experience in managing budgets and analyzing contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the delivery of healthcare services in compliance with State and Local Regulations, ACA, NCCHC, and accreditation standards.
• Evaluates financial and statistical data, program needs and problems, and recommends improvements to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Recruits, orients, and evaluates employees, maintains relationships with stakeholders, and ensures policy compliance.
• Monitors healthcare services, pharmacy use, referrals to consultants, inpatient hospitalizations, and potential catastrophic illnesses to limit liabilities and ensure quality of care.
• Acts as a liaison between professional organizations, attends seminars, and promotes Quality Improvement standards by participating in audits.
