Job summary

Prism Health North Texas seeks a General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care, following state practice acts and ADA standards. You will deliver high-quality patient experiences while promoting the company culture and values.

The role requires collaboration with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction. You will diagnose, plan treatments, educate patients, document care in the EMR, and participate in continuing education and team meetings.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Active dentist license as required by state.
• Maintain continuing education units as required by the state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and develops dental treatment plans with patient consent.
• Apply evidence-based dentistry and ADA standards.
• Educate patients on oral health goals.
• Coordinate with clinical and admin teams on plans and referrals.
• Prescribe medications when needed.
• Document all patient care in EMR daily.
• Ensure care continuity for multi-step treatment plans.
• Attend continuing education courses.
• Follow infection control and OSHA regulations.
• Follow state, federal, and government rules.
• Participate in team meetings and huddles.
• Collaborate with practice manager to meet business goals.
• Foster strong patient relationships and retention.
• Ensure follow-up with patients to build lasting care relationships.
• Uphold company standards and processes for quality service.
• Balance operational targets with exceptional patient experience.
• Willing to perform other duties as needed.
