Job summary

Hire Consulting Services in the Greater Sacramento area seeks a full-time Primary Care Physician to join a mission-driven community health center. You will provide patient-centered outpatient care across multiple locations, with a Monday–Friday schedule and options for 4-day weeks.

Compensation ranges from $231,000 to $300,000 annually based on experience. The role requires an MD/DO, CA license, board eligibility/board certification in Family or Internal Medicine, and 2+ years post-residency.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school is required.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency experience; no new grads.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license; FQHC experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care within scope of practice.
• Perform history and physical exams and develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory, imaging and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and initiate therapies.
• Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when indicated.
• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care delivery.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Review and sign clinical reports (labs, consults, imaging) promptly.
• Submit billing and coding documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain licensure and certifications.
