Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines across diverse data sources. You’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver scalable platforms supporting mission-driven projects, including fraud detection and intelligence applications.

The role requires 3+ years in ETL with SQL/Java/Python, experience with AWS, BigID, and ML classification, and a Secret clearance. A BS in IT and relevant architecture knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with data pipelines, including data acquisition, data tagging, and data integration.
• 3+ years of experience in ETL development using SQL, Java, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience processing a variety of data, including structured semi-structured and unstructured.
• Experience with BigID.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience applying ML models for classification.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and platforms for clients.
• Guide a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, and developers.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to design, build, and deploy scalable data solutions.
• Support real-time data processing and streaming applications where applicable.
