Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. in Corona, CA seeks a Chief Operations Officer to lead organizational strategy, daily operations, and program delivery for developmentally disabled services.

You will work with the CEO to implement strategic goals, oversee facilities and financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple entities. The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to quality outcomes within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an executive-level role.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site or multi-agency operations.
• Extensive background in developmental disabilities services or broader health and human services.
• Strong financial management, organizational leadership, and strategic planning experience.
• In-depth knowledge of DDS, Regional Centers, Medicaid, HUD, and other regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute strategic goals and initiatives across departments.
• Direct and manage daily operations across all entities, with SOPs and performance metrics.
• Oversee programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise facilities, property, and development projects; coordinate with architects and contractors.
• Collaborate with the CFO to monitor budgets, contracts, and grant reporting; support audits and risk management.
• Support recruitment, training, and leadership development; foster an inclusive, transparent culture.
• Oversee risk management, safety programs, quality improvement, and incident reporting.
