Job summary

Lao Family Community Development, Inc. (LFCD) seeks a hands-on CFO to partner with the CEO and Board, building financial systems and a scalable infrastructure for growth.

The role focuses on strategy, budgeting, and compliant funding across government contracts while expanding diversified revenue sources. The CFO will lead financial operations across multiple sites in Oakland, Santa Rosa and surrounding areas, oversee reporting, audits and internal controls, and mentor the finance team as LFCD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or CPA or other relevant credential strongly preferred.
• Approximately 12+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership in a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board on multi-year financial strategy and growth scenarios.
• Lead contract budgeting, grant reporting and audit preparation.
• Build a diversified revenue engine including reimbursement, housing, and social enterprise.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, treasury, reporting, tax/compliance and internal controls.
• Develop financial models, dashboards and scalable systems for growth.
