Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical Editor to oversee the creation and publication of technical documentation for NETCOM and DoD programs in the United States.

You will ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with Army standards across life cycle stages, coordinating layouts and templates for official publications. Qualified candidates have 2+ years of related experience, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• ITIL® 4 Foundation certification beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Edit and format complex technical documents for DoD/NETCOM standards.
• Coordinate layouts, graphics, tables, and figures for publication.
• Review, revise, and proofread materials for accuracy, clarity, punctuation, grammar and style.
