Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Data Visualization Engineer to support the NRO program in Chantilly, VA. The role blends hands-on Tableau dashboard development with systems engineering and SETA advisory tasks to deliver visual analytics for mission execution and leadership decision‑making.

The ideal candidate will have active TS/SCI with poly, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience turning complex data into actionable insights while collaborating with Government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience building Tableau dashboards and turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in IC/DoD or mission-focused environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Experience creating executive-level dashboards and briefing stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic SETA environment.
• Experience with NRO or Intelligence Community organizations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Tableau dashboards for mission insights across the Ground Enterprise.
• Enhance and maintain dashboards for usability, accuracy, and performance.
• Assess and validate data sources for visualization readiness.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders to gather analytic requirements.
• Provide SETA advisory recommendations to improve reliability and scalability.
• Perform data modeling, transformation, and integration for new visualizations.
• Conduct testing, verification, and QA to ensure accuracy.
• Document dashboard logic, data pipelines, and usage patterns.
• Stay current with Tableau features and enterprise BI trends.
