Job summary

Stanley Reid is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for a veteran-founded government contractor at Fort Meade, MD. You will manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyze issues, develop corrective actions, and migrate customers to new architectures with minimal impact.

Applicants should have a BS degree and 5+ years in system/network administration, strong Linux skills, Bash scripting, NAS experience, and familiarity with AWS, Docker, Nginx, Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience in system/network administration or IT support.
• Strong Linux proficiency and knowledge of Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, or C).
• Hands-on experience with server installation and setting up NAS.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, RedHat Satellite, Nginx, SELinux/FIPS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, SALT, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• System Management: Actively monitor and manage the status of designated computer network infrastructure.
• Architecture Migration: Develop and implement strategies to transition users to new technologies.
• Security & Hardware: Support hardware installations (servers/storage) and implement security best practices, including PKI certificate maintenance.
