Job summary

Leidos in Tucson, AZ seeks a Sr. Systems Architect to transform complex requirements into scalable IT architecture artifacts within the Chinook Program for an Intelligence Community customer.

You will partner with software and systems engineers, product owners, and mission stakeholders in an Agile setting to deliver accurate design models and robust documentation. Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years of enterprise-scale systems experience, TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency with MBSE, DoDAF/TOGAF,

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to pass a Polygraph.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale systems.
• Ability to map and manage complex traceability between design artifacts and requirements.
• Experience with advanced architecture development and modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and mature existing IT architecture baselines into scalable design models.
• Develop, maintain, and govern architecture documentation across system, data, and security domains.
• Establish and maintain traceability between architectural artifacts and mission requirements.
• Use architecture tools to generate and manage structural blueprints and diagrams.
• Integrate architectural planning, review, and execution activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional contract teams to align with mission objectives.
• Identify design gaps, technical debt, or security risks and architect mitigations.
• Lead technical reviews and present architectural concepts to stakeholders.
• Ensure designs adhere to Enterprise Architecture standards and IC directives.
• Provide mentorship and architectural guidance to downstream teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in documentation standards and modeling practices.
