Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator and Security Analyst in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. You will install, configure, and manage RHEL and Windows operating systems while ensuring compliance with military cybersecurity requirements.

Additionally, your role will involve maintaining system performance and providing direct communications to the Customer. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in Linux Systems Engineering and possess a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Linux Systems Engineering or Administrating.
• Experience with RHEL 8 or 9.
• Experience in shell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of system hardening and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and manage RHEL and Windows operating systems.
• Maintain compliance with RMF and NETCOM requirements.
• Manage system performance and document configuration changes.
• Provide direct communications to the Customer about technical challenges.

Skills

Linux Systems Engineering or Administrating

RHEL 8 or 9

Shell scripting and automation

Monitoring and Cybersecurity tools

Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hypervisor, KVM)

Containerization (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
