Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Traveling Data Center Superintendent to support hyperscale and enterprise data center projects nationwide. You will lead daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and drive schedule performance while ensuring safety and quality across complex projects.

Experience with MEP systems, commissioning, and managing large field teams is required. This role offers per diem, travel accommodations, and a vehicle allowance as part of a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience on large-scale projects including data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, and critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades and large field workforces.
• Experience with scheduling software and construction management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from groundbreaking through project closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with Project Management teams.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Facilitate subcontractor meetings and coordinate trade sequencing.
• Monitor manpower, logistics, material deliveries, and equipment needs.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize schedule impacts.
• Oversee commissioning readiness and turnover activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports and safety records.

Description

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, and critical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and large field workforces.
• Experience with scheduling software, Bluebeam, Procore, and construction management platforms.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and schedule execution.
• Ability and willingness to travel full-time or relocate to project locations as needed.
