AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join the defense team. You will integrate firmware, embedded apps, and libraries into space-based platforms, building automation scripts and supporting end-to-end software-hardware integration.

The role requires strong C/C++, Python, and shell scripting skills, experience with RTOS and embedded systems, and collaboration with FPGA teammates. A clearance is preferred and travel may be involved.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in software integration, DevOps, or software engineering.
• Experience with embedded systems and RTOS.
• Experience collaborating with FPGA developers and PetaLinux.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance highly preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform hands-on integration of software components onto target hardware including RFSoC boards.
• Develop and maintain software integration plans, procedures, and automated scripts.
• Collaborate with software development, FPGA and systems engineering to define APIs and resolve dependencies.
• Configure, manage, and maintain the software integration environment, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug integration issues across teams with root-cause analysis.
• Document integration processes, builds, and release configurations for repeatability.
• Support system-level testing by providing stable builds and assisting with hardware/software integration verification.
