Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to design and maintain mission-critical software for ISR, defense, and space applications. You will translate requirements into scalable software architectures and collaborate with systems, hardware, and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities include development across C++, Python, Java, C#, or Rust, plus tests, deployment, and documentation. A strong emphasis on secure, reliable software in a fast-paced engineering environment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field with professional software experience.
• 4–10 years in production software for regulated or mission-critical environments.
• Experience with modern languages: C++, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OOD, data structures, algorithms, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software for ISR, defense, and space missions.
• Translate requirements into scalable architectures and interfaces.
• Create unit, integration, and system tests; troubleshoot defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into complex systems.
• Support CI/CD, DevSecOps, and secure software development practices.
