Job summary

AnaVation LLC is seeking an Information Assurance/Security Engineer to support the Government’s A&A process, maintaining ATO/ATC for mission applications and services. You will design, monitor, and document security controls, testing, and POA&Ms across system lifecycles, providing design inputs and security reviews.

You will configure secure systems, validate defenses, and maintain XACTA records while collaborating with teams to deliver robust security solutions for DoD/IC environments.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret clearance with CI poly eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar; 4 years of experience may substitute.
• 8570 compliance (IAT Level 2) such as CompTIA Security+.
• 6+ years hands-on experience in information assurance for DoD/IC environments.
• Experience documenting and assessing security controls in CentOS/RHEL, Cisco networks, VDI or virtual hosting.
• Experience securing hardware/software updates through ATO/POA&Ms and production readiness.
• Strong teamwork, communication and presentation skills; drive to tackle complex security challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide security engineering and IA support to the A&A process to sustain ATO/ATC for mission applications.
• Design, develop, monitor, and document security controls, testing, reporting and POA&Ms across lifecycles.
• Provide security design inputs, reviews and best-practice guidance for changes.
• Configure and validate secure systems, physical controls and test security products.
• Maintain XACTA security records for supported systems.
