Big-D Mission Critical is seeking a dynamic Quality Control Manager to ensure that all work on large-scale commercial and data center projects complies with contract requirements, design specifications, and owner expectations. The role emphasizes complex MEP and commissioning activities and requires leadership of QC teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management with 5 years of related experience on commercial projects.
• Field experience in the assigned discipline (architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil, etc.).
• Advanced understanding of construction quality control and ability to supervise teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC activities to align with the project schedule.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, and turnover tasks.
• Maintain accurate quality records and deficiency logs; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, codes and standards.
• Oversee subcontractor QC and suppliers; document submittals and approvals.
• Utilize Procore to document all QC activities and maintain site presence.
• Participate in weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
