Job summary

Bala Consulting Engineers, a multi-office engineering firm, seeks an experienced Mission Critical Project Manager for the Philadelphia area. Lead select projects, mentor staff, and drive client relationships while managing scope, scheduling, and budgets.

This full-time role requires in-office presence with some remote work flexibility and occasional travel to other Bala offices and project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering consulting or related field.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on Mission Critical projects (new builds, renovations, fit-outs, upgrades).
• Lead client-facing activities: site visits, proposals, and PM duties (planning, execution, day-to-day management).
• Provide all management functions including scope, scheduling, and financials.
• Vet company processes and provide inputs; mentor staff; assist PMs across locations.
• Travel to Bala offices and project sites as needed; provide technical resources.
