One of the fastest growing manufacturers of mission critical power equipment is seeking Field Service Techs to oversee the installation and commissioning of their equipment. The right candidate will have a background doing low to mid voltage electrical work and some formal education; trade school, military, or on the job. Though no formal certifications are required. The right candidate will be customer focused, attentive to detail, and a solid communicator both verbal and written. The person will be charged with the start up, commissioning, trouble shooting, and repair of power equipment such as PDUs found in data centers. So experience and aptitude in electrical installations, repairs, and service for sophisticated equipment is a plus. Field Service Techs will travel to job sites. Overnight travel can be mitigated by living in or relocating to areas where the work is abundant.
