Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking an Operations Support Engineer/Systems Engineer to deliver mission-focused technical and operational support for the customer environment. You will ensure systems and networks stay functional, secure, and optimized for real-time mission execution, including validation, troubleshooting, and testing in operational settings.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 4+ years of experience in systems, network, or operational engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and virtualization.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting, log analysis, and validation techniques.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site five days a week and travel ≤15%.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct operational engineering support to customers and site operations.
• Responds to real-time incidents, performs diagnostics, and restores services.
• Coordinates with network, systems, and software engineers for secure configurations.
• Maintains system and network documentation, logs, and runbooks.
• Supports testing of new tools and site service updates in operational environments.
• Performs tier-3 support to isolate and resolve hardware, software, or network issues.
• Documents incident details, root cause, and resolutions per procedures.
• Supports escalation to specialized engineering teams or vendors as needed.
• Maintains records of activities, incidents, and configuration changes.
• Develops SOPs, test guides, and turnover documentation.
• Participates in readiness reviews and process improvement meetings.
• Supports deployment and connectivity of site services across nodes.
• Evaluates emerging technologies to meet customer needs.
