Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Professional knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts for facilities and infrastructure.
• Experience planning, designing, and managing maintenance and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs O&M engineering involving design, construction, and operation of infrastructure facilities and utility systems.
• Plans, designs, and oversees sustainment, modernization, and renovation projects for real property facilities.
• Manages projects with in-house staff or contractors to ensure compliance with requirements and safety rules.
• Provides consulting and coordination, collects data, and analyzes factors affecting engineering solutions.
• Ensures health, safety, and environmental rules are followed on all work.
