Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a Systems Administrator to sustain Linux infrastructure for live mission systems. You will work with systems, network, and storage teams to ensure security, compliance, and availability across physical servers, VMs, and cloud deployments.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, strong Linux admin skills, and experience with virtualization, automation, and stored resources. A related degree with years of experience or a HS diploma with extensive experience are

Qualifications

• Extensive Linux administration experience in operational environments.
• Experience implementing DISA STIG on Linux systems.
• Experience managing NetApp and CFS/DFS storage.
• Experience administering virtualization (Red Hat KVM, Proxmox, VMware).
• Experience using Ansible or Salt for automation.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Some containerized or cloud environment support experience.
• IAT Level II certification is required.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Education: HS diploma + 20 years or Bachelor's + 15 years in systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux physical servers and VMs supporting live mission systems.
• Monitor and prioritize service issues via system monitoring and communications.
• Resolve Jira tickets with teams.
• Maintain Linux security configurations for STE/STN and DISA STIG compliance.
• Manage storage resources including NetApp and CFS/DFS.
• Configure virtualization platforms (Red Hat KVM, Proxmox, VMware).
• Automate configurations with Ansible or Salt.
• Develop scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Support containerized and cloud environments in the infrastructure.
