Job summary

BCore seeks a Software Engineer in Herndon, VA (TS/SCI with Poly). You will join a government-focused team delivering automated software solutions, supporting mission-critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.

You will design and implement software, scripts, and automation, lead automation projects, and mentor junior developers in a fast-paced DevOps environment, with competitive benefits and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with extensive relevant experience (11+ years).
• Experience delivering automated solutions for large IT infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on programming in Python with network automation experience.
• Leading automation projects and mentoring juniors.
• Experience in CI/CD/DevOps/Agile environments.
• Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, NSO).
• IP address management experience (NetBox).
• Experience with CI/CD testing (PyATS/Jenkins).
• Knowledge of data models and Yang.
• Exposure to Cisco IOS, IOS XR, NX-OS, Junos.
