Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, repair, and maintain complex HVAC systems in a government contracting environment. The role requires the ability to handle high‑level systems with backup components and to work with building control systems for efficiency.

Qualified candidates will have a combination of education and at least four years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work safely in live facilities.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious, efficient work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVACR systems and components.
• Analyze, plan, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Plan shutdowns for maintenance and repair pumps and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and modify HVAC systems to improve operation and efficiency.
