Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair a broad range of HVAC equipment in a mission-critical facility. The role requires the ability to work with complex systems, including redundant components and building control systems, and to follow strict safety practices.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required or can be obtained. Candidates should have 4 years of related education/experience, valid driver's license, and Journeyman level certification in some

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication with management, coworkers, vendors and visitors.
• Demonstrates troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs and basic computer tasks.
• Experience working in live facilities with safety practices (lock-out/tag-out).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Plan preventive maintenance for multiple HVAC systems.
• Schedule shutdowns for maintenance and repair pumps and chill water systems.
• Learn and evaluate building control systems for proper HVAC operation and efficiency.
• Order and manage parts for HVAC equipment repairs.
• Work with a team including other trades to complete tasks.
