Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Federal Field Technician to support HP PCs, laptops, and printers across federal environments. Daily travel within the DC Metro Area is required, with strong emphasis on delivering proactive hardware and software support.

A current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required to protect mission-critical systems. You will diagnose complex issues, implement solutions, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• 6+ years of related experience with an Associate degree or 4–6 years with a Bachelor's.
• Experience supporting federal government customers and mission-critical operations.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues across PCs, laptops, printers, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical expert supporting federal government customers with HP PCs, laptops, printers, and related technologies.
• Provide advanced software, hardware, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery support across complex environments.
• Proactively monitor system performance and implement corrective action plans to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot highly complex issues across OS, networking, and data center environments.
• Escalate critical issues to prevent outages and data loss; contribute to improvement of processes.
