Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Facilities Tech Support for the Telecom team in Central Service Area (Houston, TX). You will manage physical facilities, power systems, and telecom infrastructure while ensuring safety and security across the national airspace modernization program.

The role involves 100% local travel to FAA facilities within the assigned region, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and system integration experts to keep critical air traffic infrastructure running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering/management.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, power distribution, cabling standards, and building infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing designs and contractor work for compliance with standards.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety frameworks for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure management: monitor, maintain, and optimize facilities to ensure uptime.
• Escort oversight of visitors, contractors, or non-badged workers for security.
• Lead installation, testing, and maintenance of telecom equipment (switches, routers, fiber).
• Maintain and troubleshoot critical DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups.
