Job summary

LaunchTech is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract, ensuring mission-critical electrical infrastructure stays online. You will join a team that emphasizes Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence while working at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.

The role requires a Colorado Journeyman Electrical License, 2+ years of electrical/O&M experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with electrical systems and operation/maintenance of building systems.
• Current Colorado Journeyman Electrical License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment using Windows-based work order system for tasking.
• Perform circuit component repair and/or replacement.
• Troubleshoot system circuitry problems.
• Perform infrared scanning of circuitry panels and switch gear for overheating and anomalies.
• Perform rounds to mechanical and electrical rooms and manage UPS systems.
• Respond to performance-related anomalies on facility systems.
