Job summary

Ideal Innovations, Inc. in Bethesda, MD seeks a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical systems, collaborating with development teams to maintain and enhance IC enterprise products in an Agile SAFe setting.

You will build and support enterprise DevOps environments, automate CI/CD, and manage AWS cloud deployments, monitoring, and operations, ensuring high availability across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI-poly.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or Master's with 6+ years; additional experience in lieu of degree considered.
• Demonstrated experience setting up and troubleshooting tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Katalon Studio.

Responsibilities

• Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems.
• Managing, building, configuring, administering, operating and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment.
• Defining enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practices.
• Codifying DevOps best practices across the enterprise.
• Developing and maintaining scripts to automate tool deployment to an AWS cloud environment and other tasks.
• Scripting and maintaining build environments.
• Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.
