Job summary

You will develop robust web applications, optimize databases, and maintain real-time dashboards for operational visibility. The position requires extensive experience with C#, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD, in a government-facing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience developing web apps with C# and .NET Framework.
• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and DB-driven apps.
• Experience developing software upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
• Experience modifying, testing, deploying application and database code.
• Strong troubleshooting for production apps and databases.
• Experience optimizing SQL Server performance.
• Experience data extraction, integration, reporting.
• Experience maintaining software configuration control and validation records.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and source control (Git/TFVC).
• Experience creating or supporting automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with enterprise tools and hosted websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C# and .NET Framework.
• Maintain a mission-critical dashboard for real-time status and visibility.
• Design, develop, modify, test, and maintain SQL Server databases and code.
• Develop software enhancements and apply upgrades.
• Troubleshoot production application and database issues.
• Tune SQL Server performance via queries, indexing, and procedures.
• Support data extraction, integration, reporting requirements.
• Maintain configuration management, change docs, and validation records.
• Support enterprise account tools, hosted websites, and related apps.
• Use Azure DevOps, Git, or TFVC for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software.
