Job summary

EMCOR Government Services, Inc. seeks a Critical Facilities Technician for DISA Data Centers in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems to maintain uptime above 99.999% for mission-critical workloads.

The selected candidate will troubleshoot hands-on, work on second shift, and coordinate with vendors while following safety standards and security requirements. Onsite work only; U.S.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in a data center or similar mission-critical environment.
• Knowledge of generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS, ATS/STS, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, and clean agent suppression.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E, OSHA safety standards, lockout/tagout, and arc flash protection.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and system diagrams.
• Proficient with CMMS, MS Office, and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain critical data center infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Monitor abnormal conditions across mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure SLA compliance and PM completion.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and lead system recovery efforts.
